Criterion
It is the reference that guides when evaluating educational programs by comparing the reality of the situation with it.
Educational Programs
It is the organized study path that students follow to qualify them to obtain a bachelor’s degree in one of the engineering disciplines.
Engineering Education
It is an activity that teaches the knowledge, skills and behavior necessary for the graduate to practice the engineering profession. It is based on applying scientific engineering knowledge and employing contemporary technology and transforming it into value-added products and services that reflect positively on meeting the needs and aspirations of the individual and society.
National Criteria
The National Criteria for accreditation of engineering education was prepared by the Council (including accreditation policies and procedures and all relevant appendices), and then approved by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in accordance with the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority’s letter No. 3451
